Living Room Floor Lamps

Our living room floor lamps cover four styles: contemporary, industrial, Scandinavian and classic. They work for reading light or soft ambient light and need no electrical work to install.

How to choose your lamp

Start with the job. For a reading chair, look for an adjustable height and a pivoting head, or an arc model such as the Klostra (black, 210 cm), Jora (braided rattan, 180 cm) or Kara (LED arc, remote optional). For atmosphere, choose a diffused material: Japanese paper lamps (Hyto, 105 cm; Siora in rice paper; Jiro lantern), frosted or tinted glass (Polia, Yevo) or fabric shades (Teva, Tula 190 cm).

Natural materials suit a warm, vintage or Scandinavian room: rattan (Lumeo 153 cm, Huub with bamboo), solid wood (Satura dimmable, Rebusto, Bust, Rota, Alia) or the Solad LED wood lamp (160 cm). If you prefer a decorative piece, consider the flower lamps Lila (green, 170 cm) and Lotus (black 180 cm, petal, Art Deco), or the gold glass Luna and Iris with 9 globes.

Planning a bedside corner too? See our floor lamps for the bedroom.

  • Some models use energy-saving LED light sources.
  • Some have adjustable height and a pivoting head: Lumix LED white, 120 to 180 cm.
  • Some offer several brightness levels, such as Zara (vintage orange, dimmable).
  • Remote control: Sofia (LED spiral) and Laro (ceramic with shade).
  • Other models: Bali (modern globe, 152 cm), Kiro (Japanese, beige).

Frequently asked questions

The questions we’re asked most

How do I know if the size is right for my room?

Every product page lists the real dimensions in centimetres, with a reference point to help you picture them. Our tip: cut a piece of cardboard to the diameter of the light and hold it up to the ceiling. Above a table, allow 70 to 80 cm (27.6 to 31.5 in) between the bottom of the light and the tabletop.

Still unsure? Send us your room’s dimensions and we’ll advise you.

What if the light doesn’t match the photo?

We describe every design exactly as it is: dimensions, materials (including when there is plastic), and whether the bulb is included. If the product you receive doesn’t match its description, it counts as not as described: we replace it or refund you, and we cover the return postage.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. At checkout, choose the pay in instalments option offered: your order total is then split into several payments, subject to approval by the payment provider.

The number of instalments and the terms (minimum and maximum amount) are shown clearly before you confirm. Any questions? Email us at contact@XXX.com.

How long does delivery take?

Your order is prepared within 1 to 3 working days, then delivered in 7 to 12 working days by tracked delivery. Delivery is free, with no minimum spend.

Is it difficult to install?

It depends on the design. Table lamps and floor lamps simply plug into a socket. Pendant lights, chandeliers, ceiling lights and wall lights connect to the wires in your ceiling or wall, or to a plug-in ceiling connector, once the power is switched off at the fuse box.

Our installation guide takes you through every step; if you prefer, ask an electrician to fit it — the technical specifications give them everything they need.

Are bulbs included?

It’s stated in the technical specifications of every product (“Bulb: included” or “not included”), along with the bulb base. When bulbs aren’t supplied, the base is usually a standard one (E27 or E14) that you’ll find in any DIY shop.

Can I return a product?

Yes. Damaged, faulty or not as described: return at our expense, with a replacement or refund. If you simply change your mind, you have 14 days from delivery to send it back, unused and in its original packaging; in that case, return postage is at your expense.
